Instead of going on a diet, make a lifestyle change. I'm sure it would still help your motivation to have someone do that with you, but a 'diet' implies you'll change your habits to lose weight and when you hit your goal, go back to your previous habits. That's how weight is regained.
Make a permanent change to eat right and exercise...when you hit your goal you can adjust your eating and exercise so that you maintain your weight, instead of continuing to lose, but keep it healthy and you shouldn't have to worry about losing those pounds over and over.

I am beginning to change mine again but it's not a diet diet... I have vowed to eat two piees of fruit a day, eat less take away, minimise sugar (as I write this I am eating a handful of skittles, I just won't buy anymore) I eat heaps of lentils, I eat meat although I know your a vegetarian I respect that...
and do resistant exercises every second day... Lots of walking.
