There is nothing wrong with having sore muscles after working out. It's an indication that the muscles have torn and are now repairing themselves. Which is what toning and muscle building is all about. As you work out you are essentially tearing the muscle. As the muscle repairs itself it becomes more defined and/or larger. It's important to rest the muscle as it repairs. If it's sore, don't work it out. A general rule of thumb is to let the muscle rest for an entire day before working it again. On that day you can do another muscle group or opt to do cardiovascular. Good luck with your routine!!
lol .i did that yesterday too, plus a cycling class. soreness is completely normal and if you don't have it, it usually means you didn't really workout. it is a GOOD thing. If you have a gym member ship, go into the sauna to help with the soreness. If you really want abs, do it the next day, the pain goes away after the first set. GOOD LUCK! and way to go with staying in shape
i do that to, and the soreness should not be a problem as long as it lasts you only a day or so.
if it continues to interfere with your daily functions, then i suggest taking your exercises gradually. start with 20 and go from there, and remember to stretch first.
dat just tels u dat u havent worked out n a while and u need 2 excercise more often
that is completely normal! you used muscles you haven't used in a while so that's why they feel sore. wait it out a few days before you do more crunches, situps, etc.
Good Luck!~
maybe tke a day off then keep going u will prob be sore the first couple days or the first week but u can work through it to get in better physical shape
No all the soreness comes from lactic acid which produces when you work out and your body is trying to get more oxygen in your circulation. To get rid of it you can just run it off, thats why coaches make teams run after practice.
No, it's probably that you're not used to it.
depends how much you worked on it.
but usually after a few days
no, it means ur muscles are repairing themselves. as long as they dont hurt extremely bad, keep doing ur normal workout (which i assume u just started). the #1 reason people stop exercising is because of soreness. it will go away once ur body is used to it, but if u keep waiting until u feel 100% better (no soreness) ur just gonna keep getting sore each time you work out.
it means what you did has worked
if youre not sore its not working! do workouts in moderation: upper one day, lower the next, etc.
Well that just means that you are new at working/just working out in years our that you have something going on in your body.
