Diet and Exercise..yeah right?

Question:
I am 7 weeks into a diet and exercise program and I have seen any differeance in my appearance. I am up to speed walking 4 miles, 4 days a week. Diet is free from fried foods, sugar, candy, soda, even alcohol. What am I doing wrong?

Answers:
Add weight lifting to your regime. Still, if you continue as you are, you should see results. The muscle building will improve the speed and effects of these, however.
Are you watching the number of calories you are taking in?
do you mean havent seen any results. it just takes some time. do some cardio and weight lifting to really burn off the calories.
Mmm, this is confusing. There should be quite a big difference by now...are you certain there is none? Ask someone to tell you if your face and upper body is smaller...those are the areas that usually drop weight fastest. (shoulders, chest, etc.) The hips, thighs, and tummy areas will take much longer.

Don't stop, whatever you do. Don't allow the process to discourage you...you are going to see benefits that will astound you if you keep this up.

Exercise and eating less/differently WILL work. Give it time.
do you mean "haven't" seen a difference? make sure you are eating the right amount of calories to lose weight. drink plenty of water.
sounds funny but stay at home save money pick a favorite cd make your own routine with each song slow songs should be a cool down do it every day you will be shocked how it works k-bye dance and sing get up and do your thing ---madonna--does
i'm in the same boat. i say screw it. meet me at old country buffet at 5.
Less calories in more calories out, tried and true. If you take your weight times 15 that is about how many calories you burn a day. Eat less than that and you will lose weight. 3500 calories equal one pound so for every 3500 calories you don't eat and/or do burn you lose 1 lb. Most people can lose weight by sticking to a 1200 calorie a day diet. Your off to a great start you probably need to shrink your portions to shrink your belly. Also try the rule of 3, eat SMALL meals, or snacks every 3 hours and stop eating 3 hrs before going to bed. This keeps you body out of "starvation mode" this is when your body is holding onto fat as means of survival.
