what I heard if u drink 8 cups of water each day you may lose about 1 to 2 lbs. so if u drink that much each week you may lose to 7 10 14 lbs. hope this helps!
you don't lose weight by drinking water.
Drinking water by itself isn't going to help you lose weight unless you already consume a large amount of sugary drinks.
If that's all you do is start drinkin more water then yes. There was a study done that proved if you drink 8 glasses of COLD water a day then you can lose up to ten pounds a year. If you drink a lot of soda and cut that out and make other changes then you will get much faster results.
You don't lose weight by drinking water. You actually get bloated for just drinking water. You have to eat too. Like a baby carrot or some fruits and vegetables. Be smart and eat.
hahah you cant lose weight by drinking water.it doesnt do nothing
all water does is hydrate you, and flush out waste particles you dont need
Yes it will...People usually think that when you dont eat you will lose wait..well thats wrong! That will just put you in a depression that will end up in anorexia!
Well you can eat alot but eat alot of the right foods that dont stcik to you and make your metabolism go faster...
If that is the only thing you are doing to loose the weight than yes, it will take a VERY long time to begin losing any real weight.
yes..may be years..!
believe it or not.everyone i know that lost weight had to eat MORE than they were eating before and did SOME exercise.
but eating more than normal jump starts yor metablolisim and it makes yor body burn up food and stored fat.
drinking water is a good idea too though, that def won't hurt yor routine.
but seriously, eat more and do some exercise.
You cannot loose weight by JUST drinking water.you need to cut down on tour calories as well.
If you drank only water and no food at all -NOT recommended -then you would loose about 5 lb/week
drinking water does not increase your metabolism and thats what you need to do to drop some pounds - good luck with that - I would suggest trying something different

You will start to notice yourself losing weight in the first 1-2 months of cutting out all the sugary drinks / sodas that you would normally drink by only drinking water. But not as much if you just started eating less /and or eating healthy or even excersising. But you would lose some/quite a bit depending on how much sugary drinks you already consume.
staying only on water only i repeat only drinking water for 3 days you will lose up to 2 pounds
yes. The only significant time you'll burn calories is when your body heats the water to body temperature. The colder the water, the more calories you'll burn. It's still too slow though, since that will probably take 1 calorie for your whole day. You need to burn 3500 to loose 1 pound.
Eat celery instead. It's negative calories because it take more energy to digest the fibers of celery than the amount celery contains.
If you mean that you drink water instead of eating food, it depends on how much you're ruducing food intake. I did 5 1/2 weeks of nearly no food (first 3 1/2 weeks was water, only), and lost 34 pounds that way. Be warned, that drastic sort of starvation can damage your heart and other internal organs, so it's not recommended. I had to have a heart ultrasound, to check for damage. Once you have that sort of heart damage, it's permanent, and that's not worth any amount of weight loss.
By reducing your calories per day by 500, you might expect to lose a pound per week. If drinking water helps you do that, more power to you. Good luck!
Yes. If you don't change your diet and exercise plan to engage in losing weight. Water is neccessary when dieting or exercising as it constantly washes toxins from your body and helps keep your colon working properly, (as well as muscles, organs, etc.) Weight Watchers is a sensible, easy to follow educational system that redirects eating habits. But if you can't go, then eat lots of vegetables, fruit, fiber. Cut back on sugar, including processed sugars in food, fat, of course and try to keep meat portions approximately the size and depth of your palm.
If you consume ONLY water -and nothing else- the zero calorie intake will obviously cause the body to start tapping its own reserves of fat, and, YES, you'll lose weight.
But your body will also start eating away at its own muscle, as well, and gradually reduce metabolism so as to conserve as much of you as it can. That will slow the weight loss process.
And quite likely make you very sick or at least vulnerable to sickness.
So, what you want to do is actually give your body enough nutrition to maintain its own functions, while adding to the food you put in what it makes up from your body fat. And that basically means a diet that is heavier on protein, fat and fiber and lighter on the carbohydrates (sweets, pasta, bread, etc.)
A total daily intake of 1600-1800 calories should move things along. And drink PLENTY of water -it helps keep your chemistry just right. The idea is to make your body busy just maintaining itself. You need not work out at the gym, but physical actvity is a good idea: park at the far end of the parking lot and otherwise walk more as part of a daily routine. Get and stay busy with projects -especially ones that exercise your brain, which is the heaviest energy user in your body (on a continuous basis).
OK?
