Hey I'm 13, how can I lose 10-15 pounds before September 5?

Question:
Okay, so I'm 5'5 (ugh I hate being 5'5 I wish I was shorter) and 120 pounds. I know my bmi is average but I want to lose my extra fat. So, I run a mile a day, and I need some thinspirations to keep me from eating so much junk food. Help anyone?

Answers:
At 13, you are probably going to lose weight, gain weight, and shift weight around for the next 5 years. And then after that, probably the same deal. If you run, do it because you want to stay healthy. If you avoid eating junk food, don't starve yourself, and give your self a reward for staying dedicated to running!
I don't think you can unless you go on a crash diet. Why do you want to be shorter? I would kill to be 5'5"!
Wanting to lose that extra fat should be motivation enough to stop eating junk food.
Eating right and jogging.
Do you buy your own junk food or do your parents buy it? If they are buying it, ask them to stop.
Your weight is not average at all for that height. You are under the average for that height.

If you want to eat the healthy diet, then 100% raw vegan diet is very good. Raw fruit, raw vegetables, raw nuts, raw seeds, and water. Juice only if it freshly extracted from produce by you at home with your own juicer. Nothing bottled, canned, jarred, etc.

This is a great diet for rapid weightloss for people who are overweight. I don't know if it would do a thing for you, as you are not overweight.

Please don't starve yourself or go bulimic.

Be well.
First of if its crisps, chocolate etc, then tell your mum or whoever does the shopping to leave them off the list, if its not in the house then your not going to be able to eat it, have 3 -5 large meals per day and if you feel the need to snack have fruit etc.

Hope this helps, good luck with losing the weight.
i agree with Coll, is there a place in particular you want to loose weight from? because there are exercises you can do which will concentrate on them specifically.

running is brilliant because it keeps you fit and burns calories but if you want to tone up, say, your stomach/arms or whatever that can be done so easily with the right exercises in your routine. (although by toning up you could add muscle which is more weight)

i really hope this helps!!

good luck :)

xoxoxo
Holy crap, you're the exact same age, height, and weight as me.

What I do is Rollerblade about 3 miles a day and do push-ups and sit-ups.

Drink lots of water and do not eat junk food.
running is great to burn excess fat.
well here's inspiration people can loses 10 lbs in a year from just eliminating soda from their diets.
do exercise that will help you tone.

if you do want to lose 10 lbs, though i don't think that's necessary, you can try the special k diet you replace 2 meals breakfast and lunch with special k. you can lose up to 10 lbs in 2 weeks.

avoid eating alot of salty food. and eat low carb foods, because carb you don't use will be stored as fat.
