What keeps you going when you are jogging and feel like stopping?

Make yourself a really good playlist/cd to listen to when you're jogging. Nice fast music that will keep you motivated. That's what I do.

Because if I stop, it means I just spent the last 15 minutes getting sweaty for no reason.
I always feel bad when I do a workout half-heartedly.
As for physical motivation, you just need to know your own limits. Most times you're just tired, not actually at your limit. Knowing that means you can just press on a bit more.
Play fast music with a good beat to keep you going. If I really feel like stopping, I think of myself as being drastically overweight. THAT keeps me going for longer then I have to.

i always take long deep breaths and look at powerpoles and concentrate on getting to the next power pole rather than my destination...also sometimes i jogg to one power pole then power walk to the next one and so on...also listening to music helps, it takes ur mind off it a bit
try to run with a friend... they will keep you motivated and you'll want to be competitive and do exactly what they are doing. also, listen to music. you can also think of the end result - you skinnier, happier, even just the end of the run. set a running goal... like a mile... and you will be able to do it easier.

Always turn on your fast music and give it full volume do you won't hear your steps on the ground or your heart rate.
I started running last fall and I asked my boyfriend who is an ultramarathoner (that means running more than 26 miles at a time) how he can keep going when you want to stop. His reply was "he's not done yet" So I try to use that myself. I have a set number of miles I want to run and when I get half way I use that as my motivation. I have less to go than I already came!

listen to music or pretending there's a rly hot guy watching how long it will take until u break down in a challenge.
