Can i lose weight like this?
Question:
can i lose 10-15 lbs by september 4
by walking on a treadmill at a fast pace and breaking a sweat 30-60 minutes every day
and eating as follows?
breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: chicken breast and rice
dinner: chicken breast and rice
and only drinking water
do i sound fat? would i look better at 120 or 125 or lighter?
Answers:
You are at a PERFECTLY fine weight, especially since most of it is probably muscle. But if you still wanna lose some pounds...
1. Drinking only water makes a GREAT difference.
2. Rice is a carb, so that's not a very good idea, unless it's brown rice.
3. Chicken is good, just as long as it isn't salty
4. Walking on a treadmill helps A LOT as well
5. Also, make sure not to eat things with a ton of sugar (Fructose corn syrup is an example)

No, you don't sound fat. You sound obsessive. Is that the way you wanna live the rest of your life, constantly worried about what you're eating, how many pounds you weigh that day, how many calories you'll burn in how many minutes - when physically, you sound perfectly healthy? Doesn't leave much time in the day to enjoy much else - like the sound of kids laughing, the joy of getting into college, writing a short story, putting a scrapbook together of restored family photos.you know, LIFE. Things that will pass you by while you're sitting there worrying about brands of oatmeal or doubling up on your treadmill time.
Who are you doing this for anyway? I know it isn't yourself, because if you are, then you are letting your life pass you by due to vanity, and if so, I suggest therapy right now. My guess is that you are doing this because you are concerned about what other people think about you. Why do you care about what others think about you? What does it matter? How will their opinion affect your life? Will your family lose their jobs or your house or their health because of these peoples' opinions of you? Will their opinion in any way affect your ability to find true love, get married, have children, be successful in the future? No? Then screw 'em. Don't worry about what other people think, ever. Believe me, they're not really focused on you anyway - they are dealing with their own insecurities, we all are, we don't have time to focus on you (not trying to be mean there). Sure, there are mean, petty people who say things, but those people are dumb, and they are a whole other Q & A session of their own. Don't worry about them. Don't worry about what ANYBODY thinks but what YOU think. You're the only one who has to live and sleep and deal with you when all is said and done, so YOURS is the only opinion that counts.
That being said, you already know that a size 4 is a "small" size to begin with, and 135 lbs is within that healthy weight range for your height. So if you're worried about any other health issues that may run within your family, see your doctor and get checked out. Other than that, eat a BALANCED diet and feel good about yourself - enjoy life. It only comes around once.

you need other things too.
try jogging on the tredmill.
it burns more calories faster.

Just eat only complex carbs, lean meat, and lots of veggies. It will make your meals low caloried and yet filling and healthy.

Do brisk walking. They are great for burning body and tummy fats.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
