Stretch marks?

Question:
i'm 14 years old with a lot stretch marks on the side of my bum/hips and in my inner thighs. it all started when i was about 10 when i gained a lot of weight during a holiday overseas.
for sport at school, we've got to do swimming and wear these tiny swimmsuits provided by the school (compulsory)...
ive noticed that i'm the only one that has stretch marks... so it lowers my self-esteem

i'd like to know how i can make these less visible and reduce chances of me getting more?
...other than not gaining a lot of weight at once...

please help

Answers:
my friend has stretch marks. but its going away. according to her. cacao? coco? butter works. you just put it on your stretch marks like lotion. :)
cocoa butter!!
get lotion that tans and has glitter. Stretch marks are less obvious on tan skin. Keep your skin moisturized, that way you'll prevent more stretch marks. Try cocoa butter.
Stretch marks and scars can be removed by massaging cocoa butter, shea butter, Vitamin E oil or taking Vitamin E capsules. More home remedies are listed at

Revitol's Stretch Mark Cream is an all-natural product designed to fully minimise the appearance of stretch marks.

The stretch mark cream’s squalene oil will regenerate and protect your skin while the vitamin E and grapefruit seed extract act to strengthen the collagen and elastin found deep in the lower epidermis. By stimulating the production of your own body’s natural collagen your skin will become stronger and its natural elasticity will be increased. This will significantly aid in the prevention of dermal ruptures that eventually result in stretch marks. Vitamin D3 is a natural derivative of vitamin D produced by your own body when you expose your skin to the sun. However, for it to aid in the regeneration of the epidermal layer far more sunlight is required than our everyday modern life will allow, thus alternate sources of vitamin D3 become a necessity. The vitamin D3 in this product will complement the vitamins E and A in the stimulation of new dermal cell production.
Before you start spending loads of money on different creams or surgeries, there are a few simple techniques you can try on your own at home. If your stretch marks are not too severe or aged, you can try taking a body brush and scrubbing the affected areas while in the shower. This loosens up the skin, and removes the dead skin on top, leaving fresh, more normal colored skin underneath.

Another option is to visit a dermatologist and get various prescribed creams such as Retin-A. Various experiments on use of this cream have shown a considerable decrease in stretch mark size.
