How to loose weight with limited resources.?
Question:
Answers:
limit your protein & fat intake...
losing weight by limiting calories would to 2500 would just slow down your metabolism. i'm not saying that you're not going to cut off anything...increase cardiovascular exercise instead... much better, vary your calorie intake... for example today you consume 2500, the next day, 2000, next day, 1800 calories then the next day, 2300. varying your calorie intake will speed up your metabolism... of course you need to work out. don't just intake a certain amt of calories everyday since nothing will happen to you.. yes, you may lose weight but you'll gain it back so easy because you slowed down your metabolism.
vary your calorie intake by 200 calories, at least. by doing variations/fluctuations, this will trick your metabolism and it will surely speed up as i said previously.
also, increase your physical activity. you can vary them too. if you just stay constant, youll just lose the minimum weight.
run around the neighborhood, play sports, do jumping jacks in your room when your bored, do sit ups, the jump rope is fun too. Instead of snacking in front of the TV, go do your chores. Help out your parents etc... at least you would do something productive and you wouldnt be so lazy.
stick to it, just think that youll achieve the healthy status and no one would look at you at you and think you're fat.

Run or walk on the streets!
runnin swimmin push ups...i wouldnt mind bein u really cuz ur big and all u need to do is shape it up..sit-ups...ur'll be a star playa and look great.
The best thing you could do is start walking.. walk walk walk.. Im almost as big as you and I know its going to be tough to do sit ups and push ups.. but if you can get out and start walking, jogging, running. .and start losing a few pounds those sit ups and push ups will be a lot easier.. also what I am doing is eating smaller portions more often and dont eat after 7pm.
Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies and lots of healthy foods like chicken and fish and string cheese, yogurt, nuts and cottage cheese etc. For weights just get some empty milk or juice jugs and fill them with water, sand or rice to use. Do you have a bike?? Go for a ride. What about a jump rope? Leave the TV OFF and do something. Is your roller skating rink near by open when you can use it? Go roller skating. The main thing is to eat healthy with fresh fruits and veggies and get moving.
You don't really need anything to get rid of that weight.
Try walking for a while, fast walking if running or jogging hurts you. (or even ride a bike)
the point is... raise your heart rate for at least one hour every day. (30 minutes here and 30 minutes later..or 15 minutes 4 times a day.. you see what i mean)... this is what burns the fat.
also, just eat right, it's not hard, watch how many calories you eat, set a limit (never under 1500 calories, or your body will think you are starving and start to save fat) stick to your limit and workouts.
Just so you know, safe weight loss is no more than 2 pounds a week.
I lost weight myself in the past and I know how hard can it be to avoid eating out of boredom.
I'm not a big fan of exercise but I heard that the best thing to start is either walking, running or riding a bike.
About eating, I suggest you to try to avoid eating between meals and if hunger attacks, try to fill yourself with liquids such as water (unsweetened sodas) and if you want to go all the way, do as I do, lots of coffee with splenda, that way I kill two birds in a shot, coffee will fill you up and is like having a sweet snack, you can put some half and half too.
Shooting some hoops is a good one. You could walk around a lot, maybe explore the neighborhood and beyond with some friends. When you're carrying stuff, like shopping bags from the car, carry a bit less at a time so you make one or more extra trips back and forth to get in a little extra activity.
Dump the sodas (and other sugar-added drinks) and prepackaged snacks and go for fruit & stuff. See if you can get your mom to get the whole grain versions of whatever foods she normally makes. Get her to bulk up what food she makes by adding peppers, onions, celery, etc. - ingredients that add bulk without many calories so you can take in fewer calories while still feeling nice & full.
Good luck!
You can do what I am doing. I am working from home, so I have very limited activities. But, I make myself not to eat much.
At 250 lbs, you can really lost more than half of that. If you instead of put solid food in when you need to do something, just tell your self, I am gonna train myself and stay away from what I don't need.
Use sweet drinks to stop the hungry urges. Eat can fruits etc. Stay away from starch, fat and meats.
Start like this, by first trim down your regular intake by 30%, when result starts come in, your pants will tend to drop down, then you can increase the trim down by additional 10%.
For the sake of safety, please take one vitaimine each day.
I drop from 169 to 164lbs and still dropping. I look skinny, still not good looking, but I am skinny.
First target your eating. That is eat less food and choose healthy food. Foods that are healthy are fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and food with fiber. Read the labels on the boxes in your pantry and you will find that lots of the food in there has a thing called high fructose corn syrup. This is very bad for you and your body does not really know how to digest or process it. Try to avoid foods with high fructose corn syrup and focus on eating fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meat like chicken without the skin or fish. Watch your servings of carbohydrates like potatoes, pasta or rice. A serving is just a very small amount; about 1/2 cup.
You do not need a treadmill to exercise. Can you walk with a buddy around your neighborhood for 30 minutes at a time? Can you turn on music and dance? Or maybe run up an down stairs a few times a day more than normal. Do you like to play basketball? Sit ups or crunches are great and I would start with 20-30 and work your way up to 40-50. Or put a song on and do crunches until the song is over. You can use soup cans as your weights to start if you want. Three sets of 8-12 soup can lifts will get you started.
Also, find something to do to replace the eating. Do you like to read or draw? Maybe you like to talk on the phone with your friends-you can pace the floor while doing that and burn some calories that way. Good luck to you!
