Why are some people fat but weigh the same as thin people.?

I am 6 foot and 150 pounds... but still have some layers of fat. Is it that my bones are light, causing me to weigh less?

muscle weighs a lot more than fat so even though you may appear to weigh the same amount on the scales as what a leaner person would, we really shouldn't go by what the scales tell us. we should really be measuring our body fat ...
well, im sure many people are saying this, but muscle does weigh more than fat.
think of greasy oil in water... it always floats to the top, rite? and if u put a chicken wing in there, it'd sink.

if u look @ the weights of athlets and compare them to other people with similar heights, there can be as much as a 30 lbs difference!
No way are you fat. You are at the very lowest end of what a guy who is 6' should weigh. You could gain some weight--up to 170 and be right in the middle of your weight range.

So, do some exercises to tone your body up and add some muscle to that VERY thin body of yours.

If two people are the same height and weight, but one person has 20lb more muscle and 20lb less fat than the other person, obviously they will look slimmer even if their weight is the same.

And yes, it could also be low bone density. Strength training would definitely help you in this case.
