Workout routines for Fit Test and Police Academy?


Question:
I'm prepping for a couple Police Academy/Recruit tests coming up in the next few months and I was wondering if anyone had any good work out routines to pass along.

I'm hoping someone could give me some good routines that would prep for both the Physical Test and potentially the on going PT phase of the academy so if I *happen* to get in, I'm not completely "whooped"

police academy workouts will rarely go over 5 miles but sometimes they are up hill miles - if you can run 5 miles in 40 minutes going up an incline, you are ready - also, get your push ups and chin ups going - you will be tested during your academy stay and you will be expected to improve
