Sounds good to me. The apple will help to hydrate you and peanuts are salty and are very high in protein. If you don't want peanuts, you can dip the apple slices in peanut butter. That's what we were told to do during track meets back in high school. Make sure to have lots of water too.
you should eat the apple before to give you energy from it's natural sugars and fiber will keep you full until your done and the peanuts after because they are a high protein food. it would be PERFECT A+++++
