Is She Fat??
Question:
1) is she fat she's 4'8'' 12 years old and 108-116 lbs
2)we're going to a pool tues. and i know she's gonna complain and ask me if i think she's fat cuz thats all she did last time we went to the beach i don't want to hurt her feelings cuz she's a little bit, question #1 was to just see if it's just me who thinks she's chubby/fat... is it me or is she fat?
P.S. she hates sports so don't suggest anything to do with sports...

yes she is fat, since she doesn't like sports im guessing she doesn't like to run well shell have to diet like crazy
She is chubby, but not bad, plus she's still young. Its sad that she's so self conscious already. Swimming is an excercise that she might not look at as excercise, try that.
shes a little overweight...dont call her fat, thats negative and sounds mean.just help her to lose weight...maybe she hates sports because shes so outta shape she cant keep up. i LOVE sports..but i dont play them often because im outta shape...and it kills. so get her eating healthy, and go swimming, and go for little walks sometimes throughout the day, or go to a game like laser tag that involves running arounf and sweating and is fun. =]
Your friend is on the high side of her body mass index for her age and weight but is not overweight yet. If she is not an athletic girl she probably could stand to firm up a little, walk where ever and when ever you can with her or ride bikes.
Encourage her to eat healthy snacks, salads and drink lots of water or sugar free drinks. The bad thing about her hating sports is probably she feels insecure about showing her body and physical activity is what she needs. Maybe a hip hop exercise DVD or even dancing to the radio at home will perk up her metabolism. No matter what you see on TV and in magazines, stick thin is too thin and while you are still growing you and your friend need to eat enough to feed a healthy body.
Whatever size you are, practice good hygiene, dress appropriately in fashionable clothes and hold your head up, that is more beautiful than a single digit jean size. Good luck. Also, make sure the friend has a flattering suit, there are some with little skirts that are very friendly to a girl with extra fluff.
