Plan For My 14 Year Old Daughter.?

Question:
My daughter has an athletic shape. She not self consious about her body or anything of those sorts. She is however a cheerleader and soccer player and feels she needs to get more toned. I bought her cardio dance videos and pilates because she loves doing both of these. She is into sweets but with doing one or the other everyday plus cheerleading does she also need to change her diet or keep as is?

Answers:
dont get me wrong i'm not trying to tell u about your daughter or how to raise her, but... she's 14... shes still growing no matter diet or whatever u put her on, its not really gonna make a difference. my advice is that u just make her eat what she wants and keep her doing those sports. shes gonna grow and then she is going to fit into her body. all i'm saying is that she still growing dieting shouldnt be her first priority, it should haing fun! :) but its up to u shes ur child :)
Good Luck!
she will be ok has long has she keeps active. if you want put her in a gym program so that a trainer can make sure she does it corectly and does not over do it
sugar is bad for you
It just depends on how many sweets she acutally eats. If she has like one a day or something, then you have nothing to worry about.
As long as she doesn't go overboard on the sweets and
bad" foods, and keeps working out she'll be fine.
Calculate her BMI here and see if she's normal.

i would say as long as the rest of her diet is healthy she should be fine having a few sweets every now and then. the key to healthy is moderation in my opinion. just make sure she not eating a bunch of high fat high sugar foods and beverages all the time and shell be good
She seems to be healthy to me. Mind your own business and quit pressuring her.
you are a bad mum!!
I have a couple of questions for you. How tall is your daughter and what size does she wear. The reason I ask is this, height and size should go hand in hand. If you daughter just wants to firm up, you are on the right track. With that being said, sweets are a killer. Look into a diabetic recipe book on how to make sweets that are not sweets. Also, does she drink soda, sweet tea, sweet coffee. If it is not made with splenda or unsweetened, it is not good for her. Just make sure you keep a close eye, thin is thin and then it is too thin.
