People who use Alli...?

Question:
How well does it work? Can you simply take it and watch what you eat? Because I don't have time to exercise or anything. How quickly do you lose weight? How do you take it? (How many pills per day..ect.) Does it have any negitive side affects? Any other details I should know?

Answers:
I have used Alli for about 2 months now (I got it about 2 weeks after it came out). I don't really have time to exercise, but it helps. I've lost 10 lbs. so far. I'm kinda at a stand still now though. I have been for about 2 weeks. Between work, school, sleep, and a social life, I don't have much time to exercise, and I have school coming up in a week. So that will give me less time to have a social life and to exercise.

Alli doesn't get rid of the fat and weight you already have. It only blocks what you eat from when you take it. Only take a pill with your meals and NEVER take more than 3 a day.

I have only experienced the poop side effect. LoL. Other than that I don't feel any different. So, if you start taking Alli, be prepared to go to the bathroom at all times. I've never passed gas that leave streaks like some people. I've never crapped myself like I heard could happen. All I've had is the orange fat drops with my stool. I've also had diarrhea with orange fat in it, but I don't know if that was a side effect or if I was sick for a few days. But, overall, I think Alli works. You just have to watch what you eat and commit to a low fat/sugar/calorie diet and watch your portion sizes. When I grocery show now, I never get anything with more than 5g of fat in it. Alli has helped me eat a little healthier. I still wear the same size pants, but they fit a little better (not as tight) and I went from an XL shirt to a plain ol' L. I don't really look like I've lost much weight, but I feel like I have. Which, feeling like you've lost weight just feels good. LoL.

Good luck if you decide to try it. All medications and stuff affect people differently. So, my side effects may not be your side effects. Good Luck!!
Wear a diaper. You will have anal leakage.
I havent used it but i read an article on msn and it says that you have to eat very little fat. It breaks down the fat quicker and passes it through your system. But you have to stay on a low fat diet or else there are extreme consequences. Like going to the bathroom on yourself.
Actually I don't think it works at all if you are not going to exercise.. It blocks your fat intake from when you start using the product.. It will help you maintain weight. But you will have to exercise to workout off the fat that you already have on you.
It won't do anything for what is already on you..The idea is to help you from putting on any extra fat so you can actually burn what you do have off in exercise. If you dont 'exercise..dont take it.

Here are my tips to do weight loss naturally.

Okay...I only started last monday...All I do is walk one hour every morning. I wear a calorie counter monitor to loose weight by the numbers. I have already lost one pant size and 7 pounds. And its only been 8 days! I am a woman and have three kids and this is the method I use when I gain weight.. I am now at a size two and everyone is always amazed that I have had three kids.

Here it is:

Helpful Tips for weight loss:

1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch

Keep to a 1,200 food intake

Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.

I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127

2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.
