Will this work?


Question:
I am trying to lose a few pounds. I eat alot of salads, chicken, other meats, cheese, eggs..etc. all low carb stuff. im very cautious about that. if i crave a sweet then i may eat a little bit of peanut butter, but nothing really unhealhty. the downfall to all this is, im not a very active person, i try to exercise some but it seems like my life is too caotic to find time to go to the gym etc. will i lose weight by just eating like i am? what would you change about my diet inorder to help me lose weight quickly..thanks!

Leave all the rice, pasta, bread, and sugars alone.
You sound like you are on a diet equal to the South Beach Diet.

My wife and I are doing what you do and we get very little exercise. A trip through the supermarket about once a week. We have lost over 30 lbs by being faithful to the SB diet.

I have my peanut butter on Ritz Roasted Vegetable Crackers.

Our biggest problem is selecting the right foods when we eat out, which we usually do on Wednesday and Sunday.

We have found that things like Roast Turkey Wrap from Arbys does not effect out weight. We also eat chicken chimichanga with queso at a Mexican restaurant at least once a month and it does not seem to bother us either.

What your goal would be is to keep your insulin pump shut down, without insulin you cannot store fat. That is what my cardiologoist has told me.

Your goal should be ot loose a couple of lbs per week. If you loose it slowly like that, you have a better chance of keeping it off.

losing weight does very much so go hand in hand with exercise. but i would suggest eating small portions about 5-6 times a day.

if you do not have time for exercise. try to squeeze little things in, such as do 50 jumping jacks or sit and do some push ups and crunchies, the little things that actually boost your heart rate in the end could help raise your metabolism, and of course burn a few extra calories! so remember exercise is key, but you can sprint up the stairs a few times and then later on do a little something else to get your heart rate up!

Haha, you probably watch TV,waste time on computer hour's a day, but yet you can't find time to exercise.
I suppose you can't find time to bathe as well?
Because exercise is important, find time.
you can loose weight but you should definately work out .. it will make a bigger difference, find a time thats right for you!
