First of all, 32 pounds is a lot. Don't get crazy on us, some people do have bigger bones and will always weigh more than other people. Besides, guys like curvy girls =D But good ways to lose weight, in a healthy way are to eat very healthy foods and to avoid candy and chocolate. Don't start eating tiny amounts because that is unhealthy, just don't gorge yourself, and if you eat healthy food you will be sure to lose weight. =D But also, exercise, dancing is an excellent way to keep fit, but keep in mind that you will also build muscle, and since muscle ways more than fat, you might not lose that 32 pounds, but you will look great. ^ ^
In the meantime, jogging is great excercise. Also, there is a game called Dance Dance Revolution, and if you have a play station 2, it is an incredible calorie burner-and it's loads of fun. ^^
Good luck <3

you can start by jogging every morning (30-45min) and cut down on your calorie intake to 1500.
Why do you need to lose weight before doing those things? Doing those things will help you lose weight. It is not healthy to lose 3 pounds a week. Maybe 1 pound a week.
Start by eating less, eating less junk, more exercise and less junk food. Bottom line...less junk food.
Burn more calories than you eat!
Start jogging, drink water instead of sodas, watch your carb intake ie. less breads and pastas, more fresh fruit and vegetables...
To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.
As far as a "healthy weight", that's what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc). but most people will say what the "average" is according to different opinions.
As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that
That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.
Hmm, lets start with the basics:
1 - You dont really want to follow a strict diet, because you will only end up breaking it.
2 - Eat what you like occasionally otherwise you will lose enthusiasm and pleasure for losing weight and end up eating too much bad food at once. A bit of ice cream once every other week wont kill you.
3 - Dont go crazy counting calories but read up on it so you know how much you should have.
4 - Avoid sugar, cholesterol, artificial flavors, and other bad items.
5 - Avoid caffeineted drinks such as soda or sugary drinks like fruit punch and juices.
6 - Eat more meals spread out over the course of the entire day. Dont eat large meals in one sitting.
7 - Working out: Do cardio about 4 days a week and weight training (with light dumbells) 2-3 times a week giving your muscles at least a day or two to heal.
8 - Dont weigh yourself every day.
9 - If you need help, dont be afraid to ask
Good foods: apples, broccoli, oranges, onions, carrots, salmon, beans, seaweed, lemons, garlic.
Bad foods: solid oils, fried food, flour or white bread, white rice (eat brown instead), sugar, canned soup, salty foods, alfredo sauces, processed meats, fatty foods.
* Always eat breakfast.
Phew, there is so much more but I have to leave work in a few minutes. If you need more advice, feel free to e-mail me: abadar100@yahoo.com
Good luck.
i am over weight to and i like the same things you do... do about 50 sit ups in the morning and 50 at night. adn try running a mile that helped me lose 4 pounds a week. and i wish i went to your school if it starts in september.
First, try taking all junk food out of the house, cookies, cakes, chips, etc. if you have a pool, try swimming a few laps underwater every day. somethign that i do is run up and down the stairs a few times. it burns calories and strengthens your legs. if you lose two or two more pounds by the saturday of each week, reward yourself with ice cream or something like that.
Exercise and eat less. But I would say eat more because you will burn the extra calories when you start vollyball. You will need to be in shape to do vollyball so start running sprints and jumping to touch somthing high.
try
build muscle. it'll take your extra fat.(fat that didn't get burn)
i don't exactly remember how.
drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolism
workout.
eat healthy.
eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so
it takes awhile to be full after eating.
eating slowly will allow you to know when you're full to eat less.
don't sit in front of the tv while eating.
do aerobic exercises
do 2 30min exercises then have a 20 min break you'll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all
starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,
and you'll gain weight faster
like bears saving their food for the winter.
Cut out all sugars, all bread, all rice, and starchy things.
Eat lots of protein and vegetables.
Exercise rigorously for half an hour each day, or spread out some sort of exercise totaling 3 hours a week.
At your age you could drop your weight pretty fast this way.
I'm 26 and I'm dropping at least 1.5 pounds a week on this diet and exercise program.
Be sure to exercise the largest muscles the most in the beginning, like your legs, and your arms.
Get LOTS of sleep, at least your 8 hours every night and don't forget to drink 8 glasses of water a day.
When you eliminate the carbs from your diet, you'll be craving them A LOT, but your body is really craving the hydrogen component in carbs...so drink water instead, your cravings will go away. Water is Hydrogen and Oxygen! (H2O)
I think it's a good thing to do alot of sports and activities while you are young for the good feeling movement gives you and for exercise BUT, worrying about your weight at 13 should not be a major factor in your life!

Hi there,
You and everyone can lose 3 - 5 pounds every week. The best way to do it is to jog, workout and take diet logically. You can visit http://letdiet.blogspot.com for further information.
Don't worry about your weight. For volley ball, it's much more important to be fit, strong and fast. At tryouts, the strongest and fastest get the best spots on the team (not the skinniest.)
Try mimicking the exercise routines that a volley ball player and/or a dancer does to get into shape. What would your school coach have your team do for training and workouts? Try to do this at home.
Also, try to eat healthy foods that help you boost your energy. Cut out the junk foods, soda, sweets, fried foods, etc., and work in more veggies, whole grains, fruits and good fats (like peanut butter, but in moderation.)
Best of luck!
Turn off the computer, go outside, and start right now!
