eat tons of fruit!
and before each meal, have a grapefruit. this helps boost your metabolism and you will get more full.
try exercisiing if you can (i know, everyone says that) and i know it can be hard to get modivated to do so. think of someone you want to loose weight for, and then, mabey the modivation will come. also, bt a shirt that you really live in a size smaller that you usually get. this will also midivate you to loose weight
good luck! and let me know if you find anyother helpful tips
fasting is not good! no no no, don't even let that thought cross your mind!
2500 calorie diet is good to start.
eat healthy and exercise, not fasting!
Never deprive yourself from food. I'm not an expert, but I know that in order to lose a pound, you have to cut out or burn 3500 calories. So if you cut out 500 calories of food a day, you should lose a pound a week. Add to that exercise (where you burn an extra 500 calories a day) and you will lose another pound a week. Many experts say the best way to lose weight is to cut out 1-2 pounds a week. Losing any more that that usually causes people to gain the weight back. Slow is best with weight loss.
Don't eat above 2000 Calories per day and also exercise everyday for 20 minutes - trust me, it's not that much! Have fun!
600 calories and one day without eating wont help I went 3 days without eating and only lost 5 pounds than regtained it
You need to eat at least 1200 calories a day. Do not deprive yourself of food for even one day--your body sees that as starvation and then hangs on to every extra calorie it can get. so it really defeats the purpose.
Eat things like whole grain cereals or scrambled eggbeaters for breakfast along with a dairy serving --milk, yogurt--and a piece of fruit. Midmorning have a snack of dairy or protein---yogurt, or some low-fat deli meat, string cheese, hard boiled egg---For lunch have a sandwich or salad made with low-fat mayo or salad dressing and low-fat bread (about 40-45 calories per slice) Make sure you have plenty of protein in your sandwich or salad. Mid afternoon, have a piece of fruit. For dinner, try grilled fish, chicken, low-fat cuts of beef, 1/2 cup of rice, pasta or red potato and 2 servings of vegetables ( you can count a salad as one serving). For dessert later in the evening have some sugar free jello topped with fat-free coolwhip, or treat yourself to exactly 1/2 cup of sugar free, low-fat ice cream, or another piece of fruit.
You could also substitute frozen lean cuisine or weight watchers entrees for some lunches and dinners.
It's a good idea to keep some sort of food diary. Write down EVERYTHING you put into your mouth and be sure to include 8 glasses of water a day.
I have just given you the basic Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig (both using your own food, of course) and Weight Watchers diets. LOL
It all depends on your age, gender, weight and height
