As it concerns curls, what am I doing wrong?

I have a couple anecdotal, observation type pieces of advice. I am not a trainer or anything of the sort. Just worked out for years.and, yes, I am a chick, but I'd like to think I've learned something from all the guys I've worked out with at the guy dominated gyms I've frequented :-) :-).I'm not a big fan of those sissy all-women gyms...no offense to anyone :-). Just my preference...
In general, mix it up, my friend. Try seated curls, reverse curls, hammer curls. Look up cool, interesting sets on the net (from credible sources).
No cheating either otherwise you won't really be isolating the bicep. Focus on form.
Vary the time of the curl. Faster with greater reps and less weight, slower with fewer reps and more weight. Then, faster on the extension and slower on the curl itself. Then, switch the next time you work out, and so on...Generally, fewer reps, max weight will build mass, but you also have to condition all the supporting bits and trick the muscle into splitting. Muscles get used to routine.
Do not work out the bi's everyday. If you are currently separating body parts into separate days, change the days you work each one, then the next week, work them all one day.
Muscle responds to variety, but also rest. So, don't work out everyday if you can help it. Three-four times a week outta do it.
Have you tried protein powder? I've had (and know many others who have had) great success with Whey powder. Might wanna give it a try particularly after work outs or if you aren't getting a lot of meat in your diet.
Take care my anonymous internet friend :-). Go on now and GET BIG BABY!!!
try doing different exercises, not directing your biceps , like heavy back work lat pulldowns, chin ups, rows, etc you'll see more growth in your biceps, even heavy leg training like squats and deadlifts will increase your over body size and your arms aswell, look at any strongman or competitive powerlifter, some them can get huge guns
