Alternative to Protien Shakes and Powder?

Protein shakes(if made from whey, casein, or egg protien) are very natural. They're made of whey, protien separated from curd in milk when its turned to cheese, butter, or other dairy products. Whey is very healthy, little fat per grams of protien, and high-quality protien. Casein is also a milk-derived protien, it's simply absorbed slower, making it better for nighttime consumption for muscle recovery. Egg protein's expensive, but very high quality. If you really want a more natural source of protien, I suggest (lean) beef, (skinless) poultry, lamb(lean if possible), ostrich, bison, eggs (or egg whites), or milk. But honestly, protien shakes are about as natural as cheese or whole wheat bread.
