Do fries have any vitamins?
Question:

LOL!!
Thanks for the laugh... I LOVE curly fries too!
--And, I don't think french fries have too many health benefits... accoring to sparkpeople.com (you have to register, but it's free, and a GREAT resource with lots of tools for losing or maintaining weight...) McDonald's small french fries have 250 calories, 13 grams of fat (2.5 saturated), 140 mg of sodium, 30 carbohydrates, but DOES have 3 whole grams of dietary fiber and 2 grams of protein.--
but if you're looking for a "healthier" version of curly fries, what I like to do is bake them. I like then even better than fast food fries. I have a curly fry cutter thing (cuts the potatoes into curly fries...) spread on a foil lined cookie sheet, then brush with extra virgin olive oil (not much, or spray with fat free cooking spray), put some black pepper and a little bit of sea salt (or regular salt), and any other seasoning(s) you like and bake them for about 10-15 minutes at 350 F (or until they're how you like them).
you can also do that with Sweet Potatoes and apples. Apple and sweet potato 'fries' are really good with just about anything french fries are good with! .Apple 'fries' go well with meatloaf!
none or negligible amount.
carbs and saturated fats are all they have.
the one with the skins have more fiber, but it's not much better.
@ below, eepee nice, fries in olive oil but im too lazy.
:(
i doubt it
yes, but the bad out weighs the Good.
I think that if they were baked, they would probably have some vitamins. But not a lot. Deep fried ones are really bad for you and all they are is fat and grease. They crispy coated curly ones are probably just as bad. Gosh, I wish they were healthy, too! I love french fries.
