Weight Issue! Please Help!?

This isn't a HUGE weight issue, but I was just wondering, how can I tone/ lose weight from my: lower stomach/abs, my waist, my hips and my thighs? Please help me! And I would like to know how I can do it fast, like, before summer ends. Please help!

You have to exercice if you want to tone yourself. I wouldn't diet like meisbubble suggests unless you really want to live on just fruit and salad. Eating two meals a day is a great way to slow down your metabolism for sure. Additionally you're going to find it pretty hard to exercise hard for any length of time if you don't eat any carbs b/c you won't have any energy. I would suggest eating 4 or 5 small meals a day w/ a variety of good low fat foods and keep carbs to a minimum but don't eliminate them. Drinking a lot of water all day is always a good idea.

You want to get your metabolism going so it burns up that excess fat and carbs in your system. It's more important to do the proper exercises than to work out for hours on end. If you did some squats w/ weights, say four sets, and then jogged for 20 minutes you'd end up burning a whole lot more calories than if you just do cardio for 2 hours. This is b/c squats recruit the largest and most muscle groups in your body to do the work, and the bigger the muscle, the more calories it uses for fuel. You're not going to get huge like a man either, just don't use a whole lot of weight. Squats will tone your entire lower body and lower back. I will warn you to have someone show you how to do them properly so you don't hurt yourself, proper technique is essential. Exercises that focus on the problem area aren't that effective for losing weight in that area. It doesn't matter what muscle you use, you just want to use the ones that burn the most calories. Sure do some crunches but you don't have to do hundreds a day to get a nice stomach.

Losing weight comes down to you burning more calories than you intake, bottom line. But your body needs some calories and carbs to keep its internal engine (metabolism) running and burning up the excess stuff in there. Don't starve yourself, your body will be under nourished and you'll feel crappy.

Anything worthwhile takes time, effort, and self discipline but you'll be much happier with yourself, have more energy and feel better if you do it the right way. Or you can take the easy way out and try pills, starve yourself, lose a lot of weight fast and feel like crap. Your choice.

Oh yeah I forgot. Quit eating sweets and junk food and quit drinking soda.

that's not how you get skinny

first of all, drink 10 glasses of iced cold water a day. that burns 300 calories

don't touch carbs, even for breakfast. eat only fruit before noon.

for lunch, have a salad, and if you must have flavor put some lemon juice mixed with water on it

remember to drink plenty of iced water.

and for dinner don't eat too much, becuase you're about to go to bed so what's the point of eating dinner? but you should have something so you won't feel sick during the night.

for the excercise part:

wake up really early, like 5 or 6, to work out

and excercise whenever you can. and excercise hard.

if you don't have time, make time.
This is all depending on your current weight.

I sincerely hope "meisbubble"'s answer was a joke, anyone following that diet would be ona fast track to anorexia. There are a million diet programmes and advice out there. You have to find something that works for you an no one can give you a right answer cos no one here knows you well enough. Exercising your abds, legs etc will tone the muscle but not makle you lose weight in that one area (it will contribute to general weightloss however.
