I have a similar problem, I read about an approach that I am trying. It said that the abdominal muscles are stretched and seperated from pregnancy. To combat that postpartum, you should try to pull in your stomach muscles toward your back at all times and maintain good posture. In order to do it correctly, breathe in like you are getting into a corset or putting on tight clothes. Tie a string around your midsection, each time you allow your muscles to sag outward the string will remind you that you are not holding your muscles in place. I hope it works, I know I can feel my muscles working some, almost like after sit ups. The article said situps were not beneficial for this because it may increase the seperation rather than pull the abdomen back into place. Good luck, oh by the way, what exercise approach are you doing? I'm guessing cardio. Before I became pregnant running really helped thin my tummy and if I can get motivated :) I plan on returning to running.
You have a pouch? What, are you a kangaroo?

If you meant pooch, then guess what? It takes a LONG time to get rid of that. My kids are 5 and 6, and I still have that pooch. Good luck!
Get one pedometer and walk five miles a day...it will go away after about a month and a half...also eat the vegetables and fruits...water
Then keep doing this
I don't know how long ago you had your baby, but if it was within the last 6-9 months, that's completely normal. Usually a big or soft stomach is due to diet. Keep working out, making sure to do no less that 30 mins of cardio 3-4 times a week, and strength training (weights) 2-3 times a week. Yes, you can do cardio and strength on the same day.

Good luck!
My Cousin had to get sugury done because People stomachs are kind of like people and have different personalities
Try some breathing exercises:

It takes time and LOTS of cardio. Also, eliminate as much fat as you can.
You have a pouch? Maybe your really a marsupial.
Watch the kinds of food you eat, it really makes a difference.

You may want to focus on your health more so than your weight. You need to know that sugar, junk food, and fast food are not your friends when it come to being fit (You know being fit means you will be at your ideal weight). You may want to consider eating more natural fruits in vegetables in your daily diet and remove or reduce wheat, dairy, and sugar. Eat fresh food not processed food (food in boxes, restaurants, etc.) is always better. Drink water, green or ginger tea 30 minutes before or after each meal. These things will get you on your way to being healthier which will translate into a smaller and more vibrant you. Look at http://stayinformed.info/kitchen.html... in the kitchen section on why you should stay away from wheat (gluten), MSG and other foods that causes obesity and hypertension.

When eating, take your time and chew your food 2 to 3 times longer than you’re accustom to. This will aid in digestion. Add fiber and organic choices to your diet. All the growth hormones, MSG, preservatives, gluten, and artificial flavoring may lead to weight gain.

Get exercise, walk or jog, go out dancing, play sports, or just do what you enjoy a lot and incorporate exercise. This will help you to day tomorrow and for the rest of your life.
It is a complete and total myth that cardio will get rid of stomach fat. I know plenty of people who have done just cardio & no weights & they still have fat. Unfortunately most people are very misinformed about this. Another myth is that you can get rid of stomach fat by just doing ab exercises.
Here is a good website that exposes those myths & specializes in helping anybody getting rid of stomach fat:

Don't beleive it when people tell you that you can't get rid of it. The fact is that most people don't eat right & workout when pregnant. Guess what? Anyone would get fatter & get a 'pooch'.

Good luck!!
