What is a good way to get fiber in your diet?

What are some things you should eat to get fiber in your diet?

Answers:
IF you eat normal amounts of fruit and veggies at meals, maybe some brocoli/carrot/apple munchies during the day, you should get plenty of fiber, without all the stuff that is included in fiber drinks and pills.

Raisin Bran? That's a good question, I don't really know. But you could try those fiber supplements.
The best way to get fiber in your diet is to eat plenty of vegetables! You need to eat those anyway.
there is a product that mixes into drinks and is tasteless. it is something like Fiber-Source or something. I forget the name.
Whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole fruits (apples with peel, oranges, grapes), yams, flaxseeds.

Fiber One cereal. I take 1/2 cup and put it on top of 1 cup low fat yogurt. It actually tastes good! Metamucil is a good source of fiber as well as benefiber. Those are a couple quick ones!
Whole grains and fruits and vegetables, however it is really hard to get enough fiber from diet so I use Natures 3 or Psyllium hulls or Loclo, they are all great products! keep me healthy!! check em out at www.mynsp.com/kandismm
Ground Flax seed. Put a tablespoon in your cereal. It tastes great and has lots of fiber.
think of the breads group in the food pyramid... like ur cereals, rice, snacks. and etc... it dosen't always have to be in the breads group... also try looking in the back of nutrition labels that include stuff like "dietary fiber."
Legumes & Lentils: Dried beans, peas and other legumes including baked beans, kidney beans, split peas, dried limas, garbanzos, lentils, pinto beans and black beans. Green beans, snap beans, pole beans, lima beans and broad beans
Dried fruit such as figs, apricots and dates
Fruits like raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, cherries, plums, pears, apples, kiwi fruit, guava, banana
Vegetables like Fresh or frozen green peas, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Sweet corn, beet root, baked potato with the skin, carrot
Greens vegetables including spinach, beet greens, kale, collards, Swiss chard and turnip greens. Nuts such as almonds, Brazil nuts, peanuts, and walnuts (these are also high in fat content)
Whole wheat and barley products
Rye, oats, buckwheat and cornmeal
Coconut (this is also high in fat content).
Fiber One cereal is a great source of fiber. Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflowers are great. Also, taking Citrucel gives you a great amount of soluble fiber. It's recommended by my gastroenterologist and he says he takes two Citrucel per day.
The best food to eat in teh whole world has to be

Salmon for Omega 3,
Walnuts for the antioxidants
Tomatoes to stave off prostrate cancer
Yogurt for protein and bacteria
Broccoli or cauliflower for folate and Vitamin c
Kidney beans and chick peas to lower your cholersterol
Lettuce because it si filling and contributes next to no calories
Soy for protein and low fat and
for fibre.
