Question:
I have been working out for the last week focusing on a few areas: Biceps, Triceps, Chest, Shoulders. I have been working all 4 muscle groups every time I work out. (5 days a week) Is it better to focus on 2 of these groups at a time instead of all 4? (i.e. biceps/chest on Monday --- triceps, shoulders on Tuesday, etc...)
Answers:
Your making a big mistake, you never work out the same muscle two days in a row, and even if its been longer then 2 days and your muscle is still sore, you dont work it out.
Most bodybuilders who know what they are doing just workout each muscle group twice a week. Focus on a couple muscle groups each time you goto the gym.
Also if your just looking at upper body, theres more then 4 muscle groups, look them up online and learn about them because you dont want to have muscle in some places and not other places.
www.bodybuilding.com --- that place is a good start, hit the right link (not the store) and read the articles and then goto the forums.
