Answers:
That depends on the diet. they are just noodles, which are carbohydrates, just like any other pasta.
Heck, college students eat them all the time, and I've eaten my fair share, too ;-)
no.....
I ate them when I was dieting, the type I ate only had 300 calories and little fat, so that was good. But the sodium is REALLY high. So becareful that it doesn't mess up your blood pressure.
Oh Lord, there is nothing light about Ramen noodles ! Yes, pasta in general is a good Carbohydrate choice pre-run for energy, but, Ramen in particular is so unhealthy if that is your main concern. The noodles are fried first before packaged so, they are high in fat, not your normal pasta at all. Then there is the sodium factor. SO high in salt. Check the nutrition info on the package. The only way they are a good choice is if you are trying to gain weight or are poor; at 10 for 10 dollars they are cheap anyway. I do love these, don't get me wrong, but they are so non nutritional I won't even keep them in the house for the kids anymore. Sorry :(
