Starving yourself isnt going to help you in the long run. Poor nutrition puts you at risk for serious helath problems like renal disease and heart failure. If youre really having a problem losing weight despite a reduced diet and exercise, you might see your doctor. It could be something medical that they could help you with.
Have you hired a personal trainer? Have you spoken to a nutritionist?
What is a healthy diet accorsing to you? Do you know your BMR (basal metabolic rate). Are you adjusting your intake of macro and micro nutrients accordingly?
Are you doing atleast 45 min low impact cardio to burn fatty acids as opposed to short balls to the walls running on a treadmill inwhich you mostly burning muscle glycogen for your energy source? and yes 15-20 minutes on the treadmill is short.
Last but not least/ did you take into account the law of individual differences? The diet that worked for some may not work for you. Consult a personal trainer.
Hitting the gym doesn't work for some people. What you need to do is run a lot. Run a few miles a day. NOT ON THE TREADMILL. The treadmill just isn't the same as running outside in the sun. Your body relies on ATP for energy. When the average person runs a mile, their ATP is depleted and their body begins to rely on calories for energy. The more running you do after that first mile is what burns the calories, and ultimately burns the weight. Weight loss is easier for some, and much harder for others. The key is to see what method of weight loss is right for you. If you don't see any weight loss in two weeks, then you need to switch up your routine. Try running a few miles outside and you should see a pound coming off every day.
