Is it better to run 2x daily for 30mins or 1x daily for 60 mins?

Just wondering which would give the best results for weight loss/toning

i think 2x a day is better. this way, your body never really has a chance to get all sluggish, you're constantly active, and you maintain a much more even rate of metabolism. if you have the time, then yes, exercise twice a day rather than in one shot!
i would say to run 2x daily for 30 mins, because when you take a break your body will get ready for more.
and it also does'nt make you as tired as to run a whole hour.
I would have thought once for 60 minutes but a recent study (whatever they are worth) suggested that more calories were burned in the two separate workouts...very similar to what you described.
Neither, 3X daily for 20 minutes.

It has been proven numerous times that the time in which your body ussually begins burning its fat reserves is between 15 and 20 minutes of constant running. Before 15 and after 20 minutes your body will be burning much less fat then during that 5 minute period.
1x for 60 mins... every other day. Fat starts to burn only after 30 mins of exercise. if you can only run for 30 mins they do some other exercise to keep the metabolism running.
i would say the 2x 30
for example, eat lunch - later burn those calories
then eat dinner - and burn those calories
i would say mix it up. If your body only does one thing for a very long time, it gets use to it.
