Is this a good workout?
Question:
150 sit ups
150 jumping jacks
100 pushups
or do you have any other suggestions?
Answers:
This will get you thinner than you are but will not build much in way of muscle. You are neglecting your back. I'd say some chin ups (If you are male) or bent arm hang if you are female... Also some remedial weight training to develop a little mass would be good for you if you are high school age or older. There are lots of books at the library- Check em out! Good Luck

working out everyday is a bad idea, because you should rest a couple of days pers week in order to get stronger, faster, etc. Otherwise, it looks good!
It doesn't matter how many reps of anything you do...its how you do it. new research suggests that working out 20Min's then resting 20Min's...so on and so forth will actually work better. I also noticed all exercises listed were stationary... try running,sit-ups and push ups. The Navy PT is a great work out.

Hey, sounds good but those sit ups are a waste of time do crunches, bicycle crunches, hanging leg ups. And cut the workout down to 1-2 times per week and add some other work outs in on other days. Like dead lifts, bicep curls, pull ups. That's if you have access to free weights.
If you get all this exercise during the week. You are doing great. But you will never see any great results like definition. Maybe just bulk. With out the proper diet of protein, carbs, and fats.
I was in the US Army for 4 years. And the exercise routine is good if you want to be a skinny cross country runner.
The PT. test is
2 min. timed sit ups: 82 reps. for me. This is a waste of time..
2 min. timed push ups: 75 reps. for me. This is a great exercise for building the chest, back, and triceps.
2 mile run: my best time 13min. flat. I've seen guys run this under 10 minutes. I never cared for running like this. It eats into your aminos, proteins, simple terms it uses your muscle for energy instead of fat..
For best results stick to weight training for a more eye pleasing physic.
