Does lifting heavy weights affect my hieght growth?

Question:
like going to the GYM and working out everyday. will it affect my Height?
im 15 years old and growing really slowly

Answers:
No. There are probably gonna be a few people on here who say it will, but it's nothing more than a myth. Now, you can injure yourself weightlifting, but that would be your own fault- from something like using poor form or not allowing your body enough time to rest. Just the working out alone will not stunt your growth. Just make sure you get plenty of calcium and you'll grow perfectly normal.
Yes, The more exercise the better response...
no it wont. i started when i was 13. i kept growing till i was 22. make sure you do the exercises right. you will get more gains from lower weight and perfect form than just throwing around heavy weight. i learned this the hard way. good luck.
