you can't spot reduce.if your overweight and holding weight in the glutes...general weight loss/weightlifting will reduce your overall size including the butt...however if you aren't over weight and have a "bubble butt" you just gotta love yourself for who you are.
Any cardio activity will burn fat and that will decrease the size of your behind, just keep dieting and exercising.it will get smaller.

I use Leslie Sansone's walk DVDs 5 to 7 days a week. I also eat healthy. Be patient and your butt will eventually get smaller.
i've heard an old wives tale which says that you must never sit down right after excercising. idk you could try
