Is my weight normal?

Question:
im13 and im 4 feet 11 and weigh 88 pounds. is that normal?

Answers:
That sounds just a bit light, but you are very petite. A better indicator of your health would be a body fat percentage check. Women should be aroud 20-22% of total body weight. If yours is a lot lower than that (though many athletes ARE lower than that) you might be under weight.
i guess its bit more..
Yup
For your height, I think that's pretty normal. I really wish I were 80 pounds!
That may be a little underweight. U shud be mid 90's -100
Yes, I think so. Possibly almost underweight.
I dunno... ur almost 5 feet and well under 100 pounds..
I would say no.
Well you're certainly NOT overweight. If you have a thin frame you're probably right on track. Just make sure you eat right and excerise regulary. You're definitely not overweight, but be careful you don't lose any weight. That's quite light.
Thats About 6 Stone 4 Pounds. You Really Start To Get Some Chocolate In Your Body. Because You Are Too Thin, When I Was 11 I Was Something Like 6 Stone 1 Pounds. So Get Some Fat In To Your Digestive System To Have The Average Weight.
HOPE MY ADVICE HELPS! ;D
yes because i am 13 and 5' 1'' and i weigh 91 lbs and perfectly healthy
You should weigh about 95 - 115lbs. I would say you are underweight. Studies have shown that people on the lower end of the weight spectrum (underweight) and those on the higher end (overweight or obese) both have higher chances of health problems than people whose weight is normal or moderate.

I think you should eat more calories of fruits and vegetables and drink some more 2% milk. That should help you gain weight in a healthy way :-)

That is a little lighter than normal but nothing to worry about as long as you are eating properly.

Check out a BMI calculator like the one linked below which will tell you you are underweight but not by much.

Make sure you are eating three meals a day plus snacks, if you aren't you might have a problem and I would encourage you to talk to someone like a mother sister, aunt or doctor.

Also low weight may lead to other problems such as missed periods, anemia and iron deficiency so get a blood test at your family physician at least once a year to make sure everythign is on track. Good Luck and Stay Healthy!

I also found this:
How to Calculate Your Ideal Weight:
For Women: The ideal weight for a woman who is exactly 5 feet tall is 100 pounds. For every additional inch above 5 feet, add five pounds. If you are shorter than 5 feet tall, subtract five pounds for every inch you measure below 5 feet.

Next, determine whether you have a small, medium or large frame. Using a measuring tape, measure your wrist. If your wrist measures exactly 6 inches, you have a medium frame and the weight number you calculated above, does not need to be adjusted. If your wrist measures less than 6 inches, subtract 10 percent from your ideal weight. If your wrist measures more than 6 inches, add 10 percent to your ideal weight.
