How much weight can you lose and how fast can you lose it if you do 1000 crunches a day?

This will certainly pull in your stomach and tone up the muscles, but I don't think you need do 1000 a day, and I doubt that it will burn up as many calories as you want.
Aerobic excercises such as jogging, step workouts or aerobic dance combined with maybe 100 crunches and only every second day would be better. Your muscles need time to repair between excercises.
1000?! Too many! If you can do that many you might wanna try complex abdominal moves:
Air bike
V-Up
Double Crunch
Cross-Body crunch
The way to lose weight depends on the exercise you do and the calorie intake with it. At my height and age If I ate 3500 calories a day and did 1000 crunches a day I would be lucky to break even. You have to decrease calories and increase exercise together but cardio exercise works best walking, running, ect. Strenthing exercise like crunches push-ups ect is going to turn fat to muscle and will not necessarily show up on the scale. However losing more then a pound or two a week can wreck havoc on your metabolism.
probably not very much weight - as there is very little cardio involved in crunches. If you can - swim laps for 45 minutes everyday; this is a full body cardio workout with very low impact. If you can't, try brisk walking or riding a bike everyday for an hour. That should help you lose weight, plus tighten up your legs nicely :)
All the advice from the others is good, take note of it. And I don't know many people who could even do 1000 crunches.
Please note that no particular exercise can target the fat on any particular body part. A good diet and regular, sensible exercise will decrease fat all over your body, not just around your tummy.
