Best way of burning fat behind muscle?

Question:
I've never been fat, and now after working in a cubical farm for a few years I'm starting to get a pot belly. It isn't soft like "fat" tends to be so I'm assuming its building up behind my abdominal muscles. I do 200 sit ups every morning and they don't seem to work (a little aside, When I was younger I would do sit ups every day and built abs of steel). I keep down my calorie intake and work out when I can (3 times week, 3hrs.). Any suggestions??

Answers:
Cardio. You have to get your heart rate up and keep it up. Drop your gym workouts if you have to but start running, biking or swimming. I had a beer belly and increased my workouts steadily but it wouldn't make my belly any smaller. I started running and a few weeks later my belly was gone. Take an ipod or radio, pop in a piece of mint gum and hit the road. Challenge yourself to go a little farther each time. If you think you can't stand it anymore aim for the next stop sign, and when you get there try to go a little farther. By the time you are up to 3 miles you will love it.
Good Luck
do cardio try a jumprope also ur probably doing situps wrong (no offense) but heres a hint dnt com all the way up com half way when u can feel yor abs contract then it will build muscle also if u work in a cubicle to burn off sum extra calories and fat volunteer 2 get yur friends lunch and walk to the resteraunt and walk back youll feel great and it ll be a nice gesture
