Eat more times or just leave the food.Sometimes you justeat cause you're bored and the food is there. So just go do something like workout, go workout, go in a room with no food and watch t.v. or read, or drink two glasses of ice water. Go try on all the cute clothes in your closest just to preoccupy your mind.Those are some things I do.
If you eat 5-6 small meals a day, every two to three hours, then you shouldnt have a binge eating problem.
Try to find something that you are interested in and do it.
For example, watch your favourite shows, chatting to your friends, shopping, doing some exercises etc.
This will stop you from binge eating.

get a hobby and don't keep so much food in the house that is easy to prepare / just eat out of the package

I know what you mean it's horrible! Usually what works for me is thinking how bad I feel after eating a bunch of stuff. That dosen't work all the time but if it dosen't after a while I'll go out for a long run. It helps with the guilt.
Just a tip: there are cleansing teas and detox kits
Drink a glass of water. People who are thirsty are often eating instead. Do not have a lagre supply of junk food. Have soup. Cans of fruit.
