If you sweat buckets, when your exercising. are you losing weight ?

Question:

Answers:
The more you sweat does not mean you lose more weight. Sweat is just water and so your body is becoming dehydrated. In a sense you are losing water-weight, but you will put that back on as soon as you drink water after your workout.
Yes and no... You are losing weight, but it is just water weight, because you are becoming dehydrated, you will put it back on when you refuel!
It depends on the amount of calories that you burn..3500 calories = 1 pound. And if you are consuming more than you burn you could sweat all day and not lose weight!!
it depends how long you are sweating that amount. if you suddenly start to vigorously exercise and you continue for to minutes, your sweatin real bad and you stop you didn't lose anything, just energy. you have to be exercising for 15 minutes, and at that point you begin losing weight not before.
I saw your other question about using an exercise bike but I couldn't comment on that one but yeah I started using an exercise bike 5 - 6 weeks ago only for about 20 mins a day and have already lost almost 5 kilo's (sorry not sure on conversion) and I haven't eaten as healthy as I should.

So keep up your exercise bike :)
