Is drinking smoothies for breakfast and lunch Healthy?

Question:
but eating a healthy dinner with carbs and protein, Will i lose weight doing this or is it not healthy

Answers:
Yes it is, its perfectly healthy and it sounds like you are doing a great job in improving your lifestyle already without any advice. Also there is no harm in eating extra fruit/fibre for breakfast and a little carbs/protien for lunch too. Esppecially if you are training as much as you are.

If I may suggest tho, if you want to lose just a few pounds then don't change your diet, in fact eat a little bit more if you like (as long as it's more of the healthy stuff!lol!) and just up your level of cardio. Run an extra mile or run your current distance a few minutes faster, add a few more lengths to your swimming, etc. The pounds will soon drop off hun, trust me.

Good luck
I am lucky enough to have an almost complete intolerance of healthy food. For a few weeks I foresook my steak and chips diet, and had a smoothy every day, only to suffer with an upset stomach for the next fortnight. Vicious things, they fruits. Get back down the chip shop, girl, and take more exercise.
For breakfast I would make your own smoothies, if you can, much better for you than the shop bought ones, and have a light lunch, say crispbreads with low fat foods, tuna is nice with a little salad and no dressing. And a meal in the evening
oily fish, pasta with a tomato sauce, don't cut back too much as you could end up making yourself ill. It may take a little time but you will lose weight.
my diet is fairly close to what you mentioned and ive found it to be both healthy and sustainable .

I think actually eating fruit is better than making smoothies out of them though :/

i still eat quite a lot at night, quite a lot more than more than most. ive been following the eating plan from the warrior diet book (address in sources) and i think its great!

if you want to lose weight you will still need to do some cardiovascular exercise but i think we should do that anyway, its great for your bones and your heart.
I lost weight this way. I have fried eggs, sometimes with bacon or sausage and a fruit smoothie for breakfast, and smoothie for lunch. For dinner meat and veg most nights. I found that I don't get hungry between breakfast and lunch any more, as I did when I had a high carb breakfast.
I make my own kefir and use raw milk, coconut oil and fresh fruit to make the smoothie.
because a smoothie is sweet, you burn the energy from it at a faster rate. what you want for breakfast is something that will make you feel full, and take a longer time to digest. perhaps a bowl of muesli. this will make you snack less.
You need to eat more than that, how about pasta or something that will sustain you. If you only eat this much you'll get hungry and then will binge!
Depends on the contents of the smoothies.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
I lost 5 kilos (10 pounds) in 5 weeks doing similar, but I added a nutrition meal supplement to my smoothies and make sure you are getting enough other vitamins and minerals by using vitamin supplements.
www.herbalife.com has great nutrition programs.

It's healthy, the only thing I'd suggest is adding something to the morning one, you've got no carbs, fibre or protein going in, and these are the staple things you need.

Try having adding a piece of toast topped off with whatever you like, it'll kick start your metabolism and speed up you're weight loss.

If you just have smoothies for breakfast, your body will recognise the lack of calories and go into a hibernation like mode, where it runs on economy for a while. When you eat, it thinks" hey, im not getting any more food for ages, so i better store it" and thats why people often fail to lose weight on a diet.

Best Of Luck!
dunno but i wud be starving !!
