No,what is the point really?
As long as you eat a decent balanced diet you will get ALL the vitamins and minerals you need naturally, and it is a much nicer and healthier way to get them too!!
The only reason anyone should EVER take supplements is if they physically cannot get these nutrients from a food source, i.e. if they are sick/injured in some way in hospital and need nutrients urgently but cannot eat for whatever reason, or for example if someone is allergic to seafood, they may take omega 3 supplements to replace fish oil, otherwise what is the point?
nope
If you have a perfect complete food every day no additional vitamin is required.
Yup.
A multi-vitamin. And sometimes extra vitamin C.
To stay healthy; I eat healthy but there's no guarantee I'm getting 100% of EVERY vitamin, EVERY day.
yup, it's important since the whole world are polluted. U can't just hope to get it from fruits & vegetables. All vitamins work the same as they maintain your health.
Yes I do, mainly because my lifestyle is so hectic I find some days it's hard to make time to prepare food. Usually, raw eggs and milk is the only "meal" I get time for. So, as a sensible alternative I have 3 or 4 tabs I take fairly regularly.
I know, I'm not doing myself any favours and some day I may "burn out", that's usually accompanied by a longer stay in bed than usual, but on average it's about once a month.
The usual ones are, Multi-Vitamins, Calcium and Vitamin C, I may alternate the fourth with Cod-Liver oil or Garlic Capsules.
I take multivitamins & minerals daily. The brand is Blackmores.
I take vitamin C when it's "cold/cough season" to strengthen my immune system, but I try to avoid vitamin supplements since I notice that I'm getting too sleepy and gaining weight, so I just try to have a balanced diet (I eat a lot of fruits, and vegetables).
Yes, I Always do, but only a Multi-Vitamin, One A Day Womens usually. I try and eat fairly? nutritiously, and I don't see the point, in over-indulging in anything other than that one type of vitamin. I know that others don't think that way, but, it's a personal choice. One thing is for sure, I do feel a difference if I don't take them for a week or more, they definitely help to make me feel better, more energized. So, to me, it's a good idea to take a muti-vitamin a day, one that is geared towards what you need.(womans, mens, age related)
yes i take centrum multivitamins as i don't eat my five a day
Yes, Centrum advanced. Today's food does not have near as much nutrients as it did years ago. in fact you would need to eat twice as much to get the same nutritional value you would from the same veggies grown 50 years ago.
My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.slim-get.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 4.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
Argh! I hate these multivitamins! Unless your body has aparticular problem (for example, if you're anaemic and you need iron supplements) there is little if no benefit to them.
Your body is a pretty good bit of kit, and as long as you eat a regular diet (yes, that includes junk food and beer) you'll never need them.
Indeed, you can actually generate problems for yourself by taking too many vitamins. Excessive intake of Vitamin C for instance causes all sorts of skin problems, and worse still, makes your wee smell really bad.
yes but i'm not that old yet so i take those gummy ones. lol.
