You're not fat! Speak to a family member about your concerns, they will reasure you that you are a healthy normal person. Having support around you will help you with your feelings about your self.

AT your age all u really need to do is watch what u eat. Eat normally, just not any junk food. Make ure u drink plenty of water every day, and get some exercise a few days a week. If you do all of this the weight should come off in no time. Good luck! : )
Go running everyday and be consistent, that is the fastest and easiest way to lose weight eat lots of fruits and veggies and tons of water!
Why would you want to look like your friends? Don't you want to stand out from a crowd? People that blend in rarely amount to much--they become one of the sheep. I say keep on being different, and take pride in your individuality.
If you are uncomfortable around your friends you should get new friends. I don't think this is the right reason to want to lose weight. You should want to maintain a healthy weight and not want to lose weight simply because all your friends are skinny!

Your BMI has your height and weight as "At Risk"... NOT overweight.
This just means that you need to be a bit more conscious of your food choices and your activity level. You can talk to your doctor about ways for you to lose weight healthfully.

You're only 12... you have plenty of growing left to do... if you make changes to your eating habits and activity level now... you will grow into your weight quite nicely.
Don't worry or try to lose weight. Just use your common sense, eat healthy fruits vegetables, lean meats, and excercise.
You might be more physically developed than your friends. Just wait for them to catch up and you might be more similar in weight.

This takes work so it's not as easy as diets or pills.
The difference is that if you run every morning you will never put the weight back on. Plus you will be happier because it stimulates chemicals in your brain that are responcible for feeling good about yourself.
Plus you will live longer.
Fad diets and pills will keep you skinny for 2 months max.

Well at age 12 you are still growing. Losing weight at that age should not be hard. Don't eat fried food if that is OK with your parents. Walking if you can or ride a bike. Eat small meals. Your body does need fat, because you are still growing. Cut back on sweets and chips, soda is just bad for you. Please just remember you are growing, I was a size 12/14 when I was 13-16 years old, I have had 4 children and am 31 and am a size 9 and weight 120 pounds. I am 5'1. You will probably grow out of the extra few pound as long as you eat good and exercise.
