Have a question about that alli diet pill.?

Question:
OK has anyone actually used this and lost weight. and if it is prescription strength how can they sell it over the counter and it be effective.. Just curious if its actually worth the money or not... Thanks.

Answers:
Well i am not sure about the over the counter thing but i know someone who has got the pill and lost the weight. about 106 pounds
My father tried it before it was over-the-counter, when it was called Meridia. He lost weight about 10 lbs but, the reason was he couldn't eat anything without the horrible side effect of it coming right out. The pill interferes with fat absorption which can lead to nutritional imbalances. Obviously, he had some problems & was quite uncomfortable & had to quit taking it after about a week & a half. I guess you could try it & see if you can handle the side effects. Good luck!
I am currently using this myself! I just started about a month ago, but I am also doing this with Weight Watchers. So far I have lost around 25 pounds, and I definitely think the Alli contributed to it, but it's not a quick fix. Alli works by blocking 25% of the fat that you eat, so it helps you lose more when you are actually putting the work in yourself. It is not worth the money if you are not going to commit to eating better and exercising. Do not expect to just take it and have the weight fall off. It is more on the expensive side, but one tip on that is to buy it at a place like Costco or Sam's club because it's cheaper than, say, Walgreens.

And no offense to any of the other posters, but I seriously doubt that anyone has lost 106 pounds on the Alli alone, being that it was just put on the market about a month and a half ago. It is simply not that kind of a diet pill, nor does it claim to be.
I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her. I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at
http://www.mesayyes.info , my aunt got a free trial and paid only 4.95$ shipping and handling.
Alli is half the strenght of the prescription version. You can lose 1 pound a month with some nasty side effects. People who tested it only lost 1 pound per month, that's barely effective in my opinion. It works by blocking some of the fat normally digested by the intestine. But the gross thing is guess where the fat ends up? The side effects include diarrhea, anal leakage, Fatty/oily stool, oily spotting, intestinal gas with discharge, bowel movement urgency, poor bowel control and headaches. Doesn't sound like fun to me, what are people suppose to do wear a diaper?

I suggest two all natural diet pills that are safe and have no side effects. They are Hoodia Gordonii and Cha de Bugre.

Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant derived from a South African cactus that the bushmen have eaten there for thousands of years. You need to make sure you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. I aways recommend Totalink's unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodi...

Cha de Bugre, is a new weight loss supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. You can find more about it at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/cha_d...

Hope this helps.
