MCdonalds and fast food resteraunts?
Question:
i'm going to america for 2 weeks, sadly me not being able to choose where we eat i'm told we're stickig with fast food places i wondered whats the meal with the least calories or some what healthy

i would stick to chicken sandwiches without mayo and the salads they have..no fries or BIg Macs!
They also have apple snackers and yogurt parfaits that are good for you also.
McDonalds is fattening no matter what you eat!! You can ask for a nutritional guide once you get to the restaurant, they HAVE to have one there for the customers.

Dont ever go with fast food
just ask for to go to grocery store and get a can of tuna or some deli sandwich
but NEVER fast food
I once just ate a bigmac because we had nothing else to eat

Most fast food places now feature salads with there meals which is a way allot of people try to eat healthy. Be careful!
Most of all of the salads when you use the dressing have more calories in them are worse then a burger. What I do and it works well for me is get a grilled chicken with no mayo and I use honey mustard. Stay away from the fried foods, crispy chicken and the heavy dressings. Subway is a great fast food place that is healthy. All of the subway shops have postings on which sandwiches are low in fat. Again just try to stay away from cheese, mayo, and thick dressings.
Anything that says "grilled chicken" will be your best bet at a fast food joint (as far as caloric intake is concerned).
most fast-food resturaunts are really fatty, and un-healthy. i would recommend going to sub-way, or just not go to fast-food altogether!!

Firstly, I am going to give you some advice. Don't eat the Big Mac or the Whopper. Some fast food joints that I would reccomend are Wendy's and McDonald's. Both can be healthy if you eat the right things. At McDonald's, try to get one of the grilled chicken sandwhiches, a sald with grilled chicken(they have different kinds and they all seem to be pretty good), and they have yogurt parfaits. So there are some heathy options there. Now for Wendy's. Wendy's has a really good grilled chicken sandwhich along with a few salnds and they offer healthier sides. I hope this helped you out, but if you can try not to go to fast food. Other diners and other restuarants that arent in a big food chain, offer a lot more. And its a way to taste America.
There are plenty of other "fast food" places that offer better options. Burger King has a veggie burger for instance. Subway, Quiznos and Jimmy Johns all have decent deli sandwhiches. And don't forget the smoothie places like Jamba Juice. A giant smoothie, with bananas, a whole bunch of fruit, and some protein can be a great lite meal.

Chcik fil a chargrilled chicken sand. or the wraps. Sonic wraps. Mcdonalds grilled chick. Anything they have grilled
The Best food at McDonald are the new "Stones in the Parking Lot". If you get a fresh batch your lucky, those that are older tend to be somewhat tough. Lots of the restaurants, (like we should call them that) have nice trees and grass where you can graze and eat till your hearts content.
I would stick with salads if you are going to fast food places. Anything other than salads are loaded with calories.
