How can i shed off weight around my hips area?

i run daily and im still not losing weight around my hips

I lost weight in the hip area just by brisk walking, as it's easier on the joints by far. :)
running makes you gain muscle, not lose fat. try speed walking or using a crosstrainer at the gym.
Try walking up and down stairs.
