HELP! I don't wanna lose anymore weight!?
Question:
Can I still work out and not lose weight?
Answers:
Dang! This is a new question. The only answer is to eat. Don't eat bad foods but maybe add one more small meal to your day. You can also cut back on your routine. Maybe skip a day or do less reps per set and change it up.
Workout three days a week, that should maintain your weight.
1 pound = 3,500 calories soooooooo if you eat 3,500 calories more per day you'll gain 1 pound per day..if you eat 500 more calories per day you'll gain 1 pound per week =)
Did you lose water? Fat? Muscle? Don't focus on your weight, focus on your body fat %. And yes, it is possible to work out and not lose weight. I generally gain weight when I am on my "on cycle". The key to that is to EAT. Calories in must equal calories out -> no weight loss, no gain.
You'll have to cut down on the working out some. Just eat healthy. And eat when you're suppose to, the three meals.
You can still work out without losing weight. Working out is something that keeps our bodies healthy so you should stick with it. Just try adding more carbs and or calories to your diet so when you brun carbs and cals at the gym, there are extra so you will not lose as much. You can maybe try carb shakes/energy shakes or snack bars that athletes use to move up a weight class, but don't go overboard so you won't end up gaining lots of weight back. Also, as long as you are not trying to lose more weight, you should be fine. Hope this helps!!
Do you eat? As long as you're eating and you're healthy then you'll be okay. If you eat and you keep losing weight then maybe you want to have yourself checked out.
Yes, it's actually very possible! You need to incorporate protein into your diet so you can build muscle and keep the weight you burn off.
Lean meat (chicken, turkey, pork), lighter fish (haddock, scallops) and other non meat food like tofu, nuts (almonds, walnuts), and beans are all great muscle-building foods. Muscle weighs more than fat so you can work out but keep the same weight.
Don't forget to drink plenty of water and eat lots of high energy foods to fuel your workouts - carbs (pasta/bread/cereal), dairy (cheese/yogurt/milk), proteins (lean meat/tofu/nuts/beans) and more.
Good luck!
Please... Don't even worry about it. You won't be able to keep it off the older you get, and you'll wish you had this problem.
At 18 I ate EVERYTHING I wanted and was 6'0 160 lbs.
Now I'm 36 and am always trying to watch what I eat, and I weight 210.
Umm. You can and not lose weight just drink milkshakes because somebody told me before that they had a friend and she couldnt gain weight so the doctor told her to ddrink 3 milkshakes a day.
you can gain a little weight by gaining muscle. when you first start working out you will lose a little weight, but when you start to build muscle you will gain some.
If you are really worried, try drink "Ensure Plus." This is a high calorie and very healthy drink that you will find near the medicines in the grocery store, or in the pharmacy. Typically older people drink it to get their nutrition, but when I lost weight a couple years ago and wanted to gain it back I was advised to drink those once or twice a day. If you drink one before bed you will gain back a little weight over time I think.
You should definitely keep working out though, it is healthy, just dont overdo it.
Muscle weighs more than fat. As you tone up, the weight will come back. If you've joined a gym, talk to one of their councellors about your concerns. If you are working out at home, change up on your routine. Either decrease by a day the amount of workouts per week or switch the days of cardio with the days of tone ups. Make sure you drink lots of water while working out to replace what you sweat off.
