O.k. guys need your help?


Question:
i am very overweight and wanted to start a diet but i thought i would eat salads for awhilie which would not bother me to eat i like them and right now it is way to hot to cook(i live in florida ) so can you tell me if this salad is o.k. to eat
i put in...
lettuce
boiled eggs
black olives
bean and alfaya sprouts
cauliflower
broc
cukes
tomatoes
some cook plain pasta
celery
carrots
and sometimes chicken or shrimp
and lite ranch or itailin dressing
if you think i need to add or take away anything just let me know please i know sometimes salads can be more harm than help thank you and god bless

This is an excellent salad to make for someone who is dieting. For the chicken/shrimp, I recommend grilling it. That's the healthiest option if you want to have those two ingredients in your food. Also for the dressing, yes, make sure it's light and add very little dressing. The more dressing = the more calories. Anyway, good luck with your diet. And that salad sounds great!! :)

good job! ur on a role of healthy-eatin! but im not sure about the shrimp, they're really high in cholestrol, but if your ok with that, then yay you! im pretty sure you can add a bit of cheese, just a little for some flavor to reward yourself!
u can have more fish, cos as i know they r not fatty
u can have lean beef as well on ur diet
if u r really overweight, then u cant just eat salad/vegues, where u will get energy then?

drink lots of water, it helps to get rid of fat
if u r overweight u might have a disfunctional with ur metabolism, then u need to do some exercise, that will help to burn the fat off


celery is good to burn calori ... i heard about it from tv, healthy food program, eat more

use olive oil always

to add flavoue, use garlic, peper, chilli, lemongrass on your cooking than salt or sugar

to avoid being starving what i do is eat more is small portion rather than a big portion 3 times a day

i eat 5 times a day with smaller portion than normal ones

also to keep u away from being starving, eat apples as snack, drink a lot of water 15 minutes before eat (water also helps to get rid of some extra fat)

oh ya, u can try asian cooking (chinese, japanes for example)
chinese do more stir fry, but if u just use a bit of olive oil, should be fine.

basic stir fry ingredient is:
garlic (chopped very finely)
pepper
salt (just a bit, or if u prefer not to have it, it is okay)
some olive oil

addition:
chopped chili (burn some fat)
chopped ginger, will enhance the flavour, trust me
chopped tomatoes/ slices tomatoes will be good

what u can put in:
any green vegies, wombok, kangkoong, bok choy, pok choy, green beans, mushrooms
any mince or stir fry meat
any fish (tuna, sardines, i am not sure about salmon though)
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
That salad sounds pretty good to me.

Make sure that the chicken is grilled.
