I'm confused about what's true?


Question:
i hear lots of different theories on dieting and exercise.
i heard weigth train and lift weights before you run and run in ntervals with power walking. this will speed up matablosm and burn fat-

i also heard you gain weight before you lose when starting to exercise

i heard eat every 2-3 hours small meals to speed up matabolism

i heard muscle burns fat

i just look bigger and have gained weight. i gained three to five pounds in 2-3 weeks. i am drinking ater-eating vewggies and fruit- only chicken or lean meats- what's the deal?
my arms are huge- i'm onlylifting 3 pounds

what's the best advice for me?

To be honest, you sound like you have a body dysmorphic disorder.

People's weight fluctuate by about 5 lbs. gaining 5 lbs in 2-3 weeks is not a big deal. It could be just when you are weighing yourself.

You don't say how old and tall you are, nor do you say what you weigh and what exercises you are doing. You don't really give enough information.
