I'm 5'3" and 143 lbs. I know I am overweight. What is the ideal weight to be at for my height? I am 27.

I am a medium build and am pretty muscular. I have had 3 kids so I have some baby fat. The joys of kids. I am trying to run 3 times a week for 3 miles. Will this help? Thanks.

Actually, according to my doctor, you are within your weight range but your at the high end of the range.
Yes I used to be 5'7 141 when I quit smoking and I lost 20 lbs jogging for 30 mins a day with a day off here and there, and I didn't change my diet too much I just had everything in moderation and I didn't eat until I was stuffed. Exercise really does work it might take a few months to get there but you just have to keep at it. Considering your height, I bet you need to be around 120ish to be in the normal range.
