If I was trying to get a six pack and some muscle, would whey protein help? If so, can I take it early in the morning after my work out?

Yes it would help. If you are hopeing to gain muscle you want to try to eat your weight in protein grams. 150lbs = 150grams per day. Whey would help you with that. Have it the morning and after work outs. The directions say something like 3 times a day but what ever gets you to your goal.
