Question:
Start weight: 117 lbs.
Current: 114 lbs.
I have been working out like crazy all week, and lost 3 lbs. and eating healthier.

BTW--NO "i'd kill to have you're body", cuz i'm like under 5 ft. pretty much and i'm NOT thin, people kid with me about my "pudge", so please just advice =)!! thanks xxx
Answers:
2 lbs a week is considered healthy. a simple cut of 500 calories a day and burning of 500 calories through cardio and/or lifting will bring you there without too much trouble. But don't drop your intake below 1200 calories a day. Anymore below that for an extended period will just cause your body to hold onto the fat you have. But an extra 1000 calorie a day deficient will amount to 7000 calories in a week. A pound of fat = 3500 calories. So 2 lbs x 4 weeks = 8 lbs. But it is always difficult for those approaching a low body weight to lose (the body fights back) so I'm guessing you'll be able to get 6 lbs if you hold to it.
If you're dieting and exercising correctly, expect to lose 1 -2 lbs of fat a week.
108
If you eat right and exercise regularly you can easily lose 2 - 3 lbs/week (up to 4) with a good chance of keeping it off long term.
At 2 lbs/wk you could be at 106 by the 3rd if you are diligent (no skipping meals, no dropping cals under 1200/day, exercise around 1 hr a day at least 5 days a week).
Congrads on the lose of 3 pounds. Now for the bad news.
Unless you are determined to STAY that ideal weight and aren't growing anymore, you have a good chance of putting the weight back on. Regular exercise and healthier eating are going to have to be FOREVER.
Back to your question. I would guess you will make it to the
your goal of 108 by Sept.3rd. But please don't kill yourself in the process. Good luck.
I bet you could make it to your goal by September 3rd that is 6 pounds in a little over 3 weeks. you can deffinently lose 2 pounds a week if you really try!
