My Calfs Keep Cramping!!!!?

Question:
First of all, it has nothing to do with my fitness as i have been training since March. I play gaelic and my right calf has cramped during 3 games and my left once. Please give suggestions...Thanks

Answers:
Could be two things...you're not warmed up enough. Wear thicker, calf-high socks. Your electrolytes are out of whack with all the perspiring. Drink sports drinks with low sugar but added electrolytes.
you are probably not stretching properly
your legs cramp due to excess acid build up. Acid is supposed to be there. it helps with the increase of muscle growth. Just stay hydrated. :)
Eat some bananas. Whenever my legs cramp that is what I do, and it seems to help. Not immediately, but maybe eat one a day. My mom always said it was because I needed potassium.
you can get cramps from being dehydrated so drink plenty of water when working out especially in the summer. Try it and it might work.
cramping is usually from not drinking enough water. you could try taking glycerol before your sports to keep you hydrated.
they could be cramping during exercise because of slow blood flow to the muscle

could be dehydration...increase water intake

could be electrolyte loss--sports drink (gatorade-powerade,etc) will replace..or it could be low potassium/sodium lost during exercise (sports drink should fix
Make sure that you stay hydrated and eat a banana before your games.
