My grandfather (from my dad) is 5'10
My grandmother (from my dad) is 5'2
My grandfather (from my mom) is 5'8

Do you think I'm fooling myself thinking that I can be 5'9 or more?
Answers:
If you're still growing and you'd like to know how tall you could possibly be try using the following height calculator! To calculate your maximum natural height based on your parents and grandparents' height, use the following formula:
• Your father's height = F cm (inches)
• Your mother's height = M cm (inches)
• Your father's father's height = FF cm (inches)
• Your father's mother's height = FM cm (inches)
• Your mother's father's height = MF cm (inches)
• Your mother's mother's height = MM cm (inches)
If you are a male, with 95% certainty,
Your Maximum Natural Height in cm (inches) =
(F + M + FF + FM + MF + MM) / 6 * 1.08 + 8.8 cm (3.5 inches)
If you are a male, with 99% certainty,
Your Maximum Natural Height in cm (inches) =
(F + M + FF + FM + MF + MM) / 6 * 1.08 + 14 cm (5.5 inches)
Explanation: Extensive statistic and scientific research shows the average height of a man is equivalent to the average height of their parents and grandparents multiply by a conversion factor of 1.08. This will be most males' natural height. However, 95 out of 100 males' maximum possible natural height is below the sum of their natural height plus 8.8 cm (3.5 inches), and 99 out of 100 males' maximum possible natural height is below the sum of their natural height plus 14 cm (5.5 inches).
(5' 7"+5' 2"+5' 10"+5' 2"+5' 8"+5' 2")/6 = 5' 5.166"
(5' 5.166)X1.08 = 5' 10.38"
Your Maximum Natural Height = 5' 10.38"
For 95% certainty:
5' 10.38"+ 3.5" = 6' 1.88"
For 99% certainty:
5' 10.38" + 5.5" = 6' 3.88"
For 5% certainty :
5' 10.38- 3.5" = 5' 6.88"
Your height will be 5' 6" to 5' 7' (if you are now 5' 4" to 5' 5")
Height is determined by the complex interactive combination of genetics and environment. Genetic potential plus nutrition minus stressors is a basic formula.
Try to get additional 1" to 2" from nutrition and with less stress.
no,
my, dad's a 5'6, mom 4'8
(father side.)
grandma 5'
grand pa 5'3'
(mom's side)
grand pa 5'3
grandma 5'1
and my brother is 5'9
I am told anything is possible. I failed to achieve two meters by 3inches myself. You have heard of recessive genes right? Perhaps there is someone far back in the family tree that has tall roots. Hopefully that dormant gene makes itself active in your growth period. But the only way to determine that is to see a gene therapist. Last I checked research is expensive.
But there is very little else that you may do to encourage your growth short of hormone treatment. But I've seen teens go on weight gainers and protein powders and shoot up like bean stalk. Far be it from me to encourage you to do something drastic. I'm not a doctor my best advice however is to be patient. You do not know what you will be. "Whatever we'll be , we'll be.."
I wish you well.
Nope its all in you genetics dude you could be a little taller, but if youre expecting to be 6 feet tall i wouldnt think about it
